When you switched between Break at EOD on and off on the 4/17 chart, the pivot prices did not change. Many data providers limit the amount of tick data they provide for historical charts - NinjaTrader's historical data servers only store about 180 days of tick data, for example. I can't try to replicate this on the 3/8/2019 date because I simply can't get the necessary data as 3/8/2019 is outside of 180 days ago. Can you replicate with any date within the last week? I'm thinking this is an issue of not having all necessary data for certain ranges.

Yes, as we've previously discussed, when break at EOD is unchecked the Prior Day OHLC indicator will appear to give inaccurate values as the bars do not end right at the normal EOD time.

As designed, the Prior Day OHLC indicator uses intraday data. There may be third party indicators available that use daily bars to provide the prior day OHLC or you could certainly create your own.

However, I have submitted a feature request to allow the option for the Prior Day OHLC indicator to calculate using daily bars. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-4755.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

No way somebody from NT8 team can modify Prior Day OHLC indicator? I could manually import it into NT8 afterwards.
