ChartTrader in a stronge Mode?
I'm trading live with TD Ameritrade. While I can place an order they appear in orange and can not be moved or cancelled. Also The chart trader buttons are Buy order on left side and short order buttons on the right side? I have to hit the short button to sell? When a limit order executes no PnL shows?

CRITICAL — If your inquiry involves live orders, please always reach out to your broker's Orders Desk immediately to confirm and manage your live orders and positions. It is difficult to accurately diagnose order submission issues without diagnostic files. Those files contain sensitive information which should not be shared publicly. I may ask you to write in some I may take a look at those files. With that said, lets see how much we can learn on the forums without that information.
Please answer all of the following questions:- What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
- Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
- Does the order persist if you restart NinjaTrader?

After thinking about this further, I think the problem is with TD Ameritrade. While the order was posted and executed, information about the order is not being passed back to the Ninja platform. Hence the order stayed in the orange state. I've seen this when trading through the TOS platform. Orders either do not go through or they get stuck. Major headache. The problem cleared up once the market had slowed down a bit after the open. To cancel or alter an order during this period I had to do so from within TOS. I also noticed that the P&L for a close position also hangs around for quite so time, not always, but quit often enough to be annoying.Last edited by boreland; 04-15-2020, 12:29 PM.
