Candlestick patterns

Good morning, sir,

I am able to change the text that appears on a candlestick pattern chart, for example, "three black crows" in red. However, as soon as I close NinjaTrader, the color disappears.

Can you tell me how I can make it permanent?

Are you saving your workspace after making these changes? If not, I would recommend doing this so that any changes to your chart are saved for the next session.

Hi Chris,

Yes, i do save my workspace.

This is how I change the text color on the chart : right click on a chart candlestick text, go to properties, change the color font of the desired candlesticks, click on apply. They all have colors now. Save my workspace, reopen NinjaTrader, and colors disappeared.

I am not seeing the same results on my chart when following those steps; when I close NinjaTrader and reopen the color I have selected remains.

Please try to reinstall NinjaTrader (this will not remove your workspaces or anything like that):

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Please let me know if this resolves this item.

Hi,

I downloaded the new version, but i had a 64bit before and the link doesn't propose that option. Nevertheless, I installed it, changed the color of the candlestick, saved my workspace, reopened NT8 and still, the color is not there anymore.
