Interactive Brokers API - max tickers 100

Hi


So IB only lets me see 100 tickers at a time.



In TWS, they say every line counts - so if I had 3 lines with the same ticker symbol it still counts as 3 - how does NT handle that?


For example, say I had 2 market analyzers both containing AAPL, and two charts - a daily and a 5 minutes, both AAPL..


Would that be 4 instances of data? Or would it all count as just one (out of 100 max limit)

From testing, it appears as if multiple instances of the same instrument still only register as one request.

I believe there is a setting/subscription in Interactive Brokers to allow more simultaneous symbols if it is needed for your trading. I would recommend contacting Interactive Brokers Support directly for more details about this.
