Disable chart scroll

Is there a way to disable dragging a chart back in time? If this can't be done manually, is there a ninjascript method to force the chart scroll to the latest bar?

Thank you for your post.

There would not currently be a way to disable the ability to scroll a chart backwards in time, nor would there be a NinjaScript method to scroll the chart to the latest bar.

However, I have added votes for you to existing Feature Requests - these are being tracked under SFT-2331 for a NinjaScript method, and SFT-4482 to lock the chart scroll.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

tecmisc1 Recommendation: setup a HOT KEY on the 'Auto Scale and Return' action with CTRL+Q. When your chart scrolls away, press CTRL-Q to get it back to the current bar and in scaled correctly. Works for me! I use MAC and PARALLELS so my MAC Mouse has a tendency to scroll the chart away when I touch it wrong... so this has proven to be useful . Good luck!
