Hello, what is the reason to start the Volume Profile Price mode for profile type with a letter A at 8.00 CST ie 9.00 ET ?

The equities RT as you well know starts at 8.30 CST - is there plans to make this session template dependent or an option to align with the session template ET or RT ?

To have the ES start at 9.00 with A - is pre market that doesnt really follow convention of this type of tool usage? Meaning the actual Cash open will be set to letter B - Please advise the rationale to this ... i am open to hearing

Various implementations of this indicator have a hard static time for the letters which starts with A at 8am central. This was the implementation that was decided.

Other implementations were considered and at this time we are open to feedback from users for it to function different. We decided that it was important to have the letters locked to times so you could easily compare profiles from different data series. 8am was chosen since it is the start of the hour, close to many instruments open, and others also do this.

The trading hours property within the indicator will adjust what letter it starts with/what gets filtered out, however, it does not shift the letters to begin with A at the beginning of that trading hours template.

I've submitted a feature request on your behalf to allow the adjustment of the letter's start time. I'll edit this post when I receive a tracking number.
