    Market Analyzer Alerts and Contract Rollover

    I have Alerts configured in Market Analyzer and the issue I have encountered/raise is that Contract Rollover has not rolled over the 'Apply to: field in the Condition builder.

    I hope I can describe adequately without lengthy explanations.

    I have alerts configured both on Charts and in Market Anayzer.

    On the chart Alert, one side of the Condition is the Data Series. I roll the Contract, the Chart's Data Series rolls, the Data Series 'in the Alert Condition 'rolls' (they're the same source/origin, clearly).As expected.

    In Analyzer, I have Instruments added. I roll the Contract, the Instruments in the Instrument Column roll.
    But the Data Series in the Condition 'Apply to: field has not?

    AFAIK I had the Market Analyzer workspace/window open when I rolled so I don't think it can be to do with that.

    Anyhoo, hopefully that is enough to describe the issue. In charts alerts it works as I'd expect, simply, in Market Analyzer it rolls the Instrument Column but not the Apply to field in the Condition Builder, which is not what I'd expect nor like Charts.

    Am I missing a step/something?

    This means I've had to roll 20+ Alerts, which had I known I might have configured differently.

    There is not currently a way to automatically roll the Apply To to the new contract in Market Analyzer alerts.

    I have added a feature request for this behavior to be added to the platform. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-4710.

    As you know with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

      I can't imagine what could be the good reason that it shouldn't do it automatically by design. But that of course doesn't mean there isn't a good reason :-)

      Easily & efficiently dealt with, thanks for that. & Contracts thankfully don't roll every day, week.

          Unfortunately there is no update on this item at this time, alerts are tied to specific contracts.
