    Hello chris51,

    Thanks for your post.

I suspect you'll want to press the F in the upper right section of the charts price scale— this will rescale the chart using automatic scaling.

You can also Zoom Out with the chart toolbar's zoom icon or manually readjust the price scale and time scales to scale the chart as desired.

More information can be found below in our Help Guide article regarding this topic:

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

        Hello,

        Thanks for your reply.

The length of the bars would be determined by the price. In this case, if you want to view the price scale at a 1 point basis, and with 2000 ticks in each candlestick, you'll likely find long lengths as the candlesticks defined hit those prices and this is how charting is designed.

If you want shorter lengthed candlesticks, I would recommend a smaller value for the number of ticks in the candlesticks so that the variance in price will likely be reduced on a per candle basis, however, the prices would remain the same and you would just have more candles in the same space of time.

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

            Hello,

            Thank you for the reply.

Several factors may contribute to why his chart looks different than yours. It could be something as simple as him using a different resolution monitor which displays the bars in a smaller size.

On my screen I get a very similar result to yours when setting the interval to match.

That being said, current volatility of the instrument may play a part as well. He is loading the ES 03-20 contract in that screenshot. When I look at a historical chart of that contract my candles are much smaller and closer to the YouTube screenshot.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
