Transferring workspace from 1 pc to another

I had to rebuild my computer, but before I did I made sure to save my NT8 workspace .xml to a usb drive.

I re-downloaded NT8 and moved the .xml file to the new workspace folder, but it is not showing up in NT8, only the default futures workspace.

Any way to get this working?

Glad to assist. To confirm, were additional XML files saved from the first Workspaces folder?

It may be the "Workspaces.XML" file only was taken itself. While this file does manage workspace items, the workspace files should be saved by-name as well via this location (Untitled1 by default, for example). If only the Workspaces file was moved, then unfortunately the workspaces will need to be recreated.

I saved the actual workspace file I wanted. The workspace I use daily is called daily.xml and that is the file I saved/moved to the new install.

I see, the workspace should be moved in the named file. Please try restarting and opening via the Control Center > Workspaces menu. Feel free to also email us the file at PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com and we can verify on our end if the file contains a saved workspace.

I can confirm it doesn't show up via Control Center > Workspaces.

I e-mailed the .xml in question to platform support just now
