Installer only installing 32-bit version

I'm a new user and just installed v8 on a Win10 machine, and the installer put on the 32-bit version. I tried the removal process and redownloaded the installer as detailed in another thread, but this also attempted to put the 32-bit version on my machine. Is there another way to force the 64-bit version?

There is not a separate installer. Both 32-bit and 64-bit are installed automatically (if your PC is using a 64-bit operating system).

There should be an icon on your desktop named "NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit)". If the 64-bit shortcut is no longer on your desktop, please open Windows File Explorer and go to C > Program Files (x86) > NinjaTrader 8 > bin64 > right click on NinjaTrader.exe > send to > Desktop. This will create a shortcut to the 64-bit version of NinjaTrader on your desktop.
