NT8-TDA orders submitted never get an updated status

    Disconnect and connect would not fix the broker position, but I am not 100% sure, I seem to recall I did this and it was worse because my strategy is acting on a wrong broker position. Only cure is a restart, so both positions and orders can start fresh.

    Yes Patrick, 50 times I had to restart NT today since the orders would not get an updated status, and you can see that on both the trace/log files.

    For reference, your ticket that you sent your files in is #2463725.

    In the files you sent, it appears as if you've restarted NinjaTrader approximately 50 times today. Can you elaborate as to what the purpose of the restarts was?

    If you disconnect and reconnect, what occurs to the status of these orders?

  • NT8-TDA orders submitted never get an updated status

    The orders are filled automatically if you checked their status using other sources. For NT, they have been submitted.
    Log and trace files submitted to customer support.
    If you have the same problem please make sure you add your comments.
