Change TF with Heinken Ashi & Tick

In Ninjatrader7, I have a template that has HA candles as an indicator and for the time frame I use ticks. When I wanted to change the TF I would just type "8T" on the screen for example and it would change immediately.

I am setting up that same template in Ninjatrader 8, except now I have to go into "data series" to activate HA candles and tick chart. But when I type "8T" on the screen now, it turns into just a tick chart and removes the HA candles.

Is there a shortcut to change TF in Ninjatrader 8 while keeping my current settings of HA candles and ticks? As of now I have to go into the data series every time I want to change TF's and that is a tad bit frustrating .

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Unfortunately this shortcut option is not currently available for Heiken Ashi bar types however I have submitted your suggestion to our development team and will follow up as soon as a tracking number has been assigned.

Oh dear, I was afraid of that. I hope that can be implemented soon. I guess in the meantime I will have to stick with version 7. Thank you for the information.

In the meantime if you want to add the Heiken Ashi as an indicator like NinjaTrader 7 there are two versions of the Heiken Ashi indicator available within the "Version 8 Indicators" section of the forum.
