how to tell how much stock is up by since yesterday's close ?

Hi,

I'm trying to find out how much a stock/instrument is up by both in percentage and actual value. i saw the indicator for previous day high low close. But that's not what i'm looking for. I'm looking for real time update to for example. MSFT up $1.04 or NAVD down -$20.45 in real time. . .not yesterday's close and high and low.

Can't seem to figure it out. Just joined.

Thanks for your post and welcome to NinjaTrader and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forums.

You can use the market analyzer to display two columns, one that shows the NetChange in % and another that shows in $ (or ticks or points as you wish). I've attached a quick example, the last two columns are what were added.

I wanted to add that as of NinjaTrader release of 8.0.14.2, you can add the indicator "Net change display" that will display the net change for that charts instrument. The display can be shown numerically in any of the 4 chart corners, can be set at Percent, dollars, pips, ticks, or points.
