How to automatically highlight the background color for the overnight hours?

I like having my background color slightly highlighted for the 4:15pm-9:30am hours (overnight) so it's easy to see the overnight vs market hours at a glance, like in the attached pic. Right now I'm just using the "Region Highlight X" drawing tool and manually doing it every morning, but there has to be a way to automate this. Any suggestions?

Hi EnveousColnago, thanks for your note.

You may use the Repeater indicator to highlight a particular time frame repeatedly.

Multi functional repeater of up to 10 X and/or Y Highlight regions daily or day of week. User interface expands for up to 10 events. Each event configurable as a time region, price region, fixed rectangle or dynamic rectangle (adjusts on price), select a day of the week or daily. Here is a quick video […]

        Hello adljj808 ,

        Thank you for your post.

I am able to still download the indicator here: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...load/repeater/

Is the site not working for you? Or is the indicator no longer working?

        I would suggest searching the user ecosystem for custom NinjaScripts that may accomplish the same goal or closely resemble the indicator your have mentioned;

        Please try searching here:

Trading Indicators | Automated Strategies | Trading Apps | NinjaTrader Ecosystem

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

        To Import:
        1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
        2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
        3. Select the downloaded .zip file
        4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
        • Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:

I tried Chris_L’s link and no download. Tried your link - no download. See attached screenshot msg - same on both.
Looks to me like a download problem. Perhaps linked to this https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...1-nt-ecosystem

          I’ve attached .zip
          best,

            Hello brucerobinson,

            Thank you for your image.

I tried it again and it seems you are correct, the download link is not working.

This indicator may have been removed. You can try reaching out to the contact linked to see if the developer is still active.

            I found an alternative:

              #NinjaTrader_Erik - are you a bot?
              If not:
Repeater is the best tool (imho/experience) for the OP’s described need
I only reported finding the same download error to corroborate the OP’s finding - I don’t need to download Repeater as I have it & been using it for same purpose as OP described since it became available.
I attached Repeaterv2.zip (as I stated) and whilst it showed as uploaded I see it didn’t upload. I feared it may not as, iirc, cannot upload zips. I’ve now uploaded the .cs file.
Contact the Repeater Developer in case still ‘active’ - who is the Developer? See msg I posted: NinjaTrader_Paul…..
I believe he is no longer with Ninja, but Repeater is a NinjaTrader - not 3rd party - add-on……..

When I attempt to download, I am prompted with "No file is attached with this package!" I've tried searching for similar tools without success.

#adljj808 - no idea why when zipped it doesn’t import for you but you can do it manually by copying the .cs file uncompressed into the indicators folder in the \*Username*\Documents\Ninjatrader location. Then, open a new Ninjascript Editor Window and Compile (F5). Exit & restart NT and Bob’s your uncle - you should find Repeater in amongst all other indicators ready to be applied to a chart
                      Best,
