Ninja Trader 8 folder within My Documents

I apologize in advance if this topic has been raised before.
Day after day the Ninja Trader 8 folder within My Documents becomes larger and larger. So far it is over 2.5 Gigs. I seems that the platform is working slower than before (I cannot affirm these factors are associated).
Question: are there any temp files/logs/archive folders that are not critical and can be clean-uped on regular basis to release some disc space?

Thank you for your note.

I would recommend deleting your current cache files from the NinjaTrader folder. First, you'll want to make sure that you have completely closed and exited the NinjaTrader program. To delete the cache, you'll navigate to Documents folder, NinjaTrader folder, db folder and then delete the "cache", "day", "minute" and "tick" folders respectively. When you have accomplished this, you'll then relaunch NinjaTrader as you normally would.
