Volumetric Bars periodicity

How to do change the timeframe of a data series set on volumetric (VM) bars without NT changing the data series to candles for whatever timeframes i change it to?
I.e. If i have a 60min VM chart and want to change to 10min, NT changes to a 10min chartt, but loses the VM bars.

Hello,

To change the interval of a volumetric chart you'll need to right click the chart to select 'data series' and change the base period value within the data series section of the volumetric bars. There is no way to use the 'quick select' via typing into the chart or selecting from the drop down menu.

Thanks for the quick response. That's a shame. I presume the adding the VM to the "quick select" would not be too complex? I think it would be a feauture development suggestion.

Following up, you can add a custom volumetric interval(s) to the drop down menu by clicking on this drop down menu and selecting 'configure'. Then in the left hand menu, click 'add' and select volumetric. You can then add multiple periods in the right hand menu.

I will let you know when I hear back with a tracking number for the ability to manually type it into the chart.
