bars not updating?

bars not updating?
High. I'm not sure what I did but when I opened my charts this a.m. and tried to start my strategies they seemed to stop progressing, e.g. the bar for the ES is still stuck around 8:35 EST after an hour. I tried to close and reopen the chart, but nothing changed. I also have two connections going, one with ninjabrokerage and the other IB so it should have access to plenty of data.

error in log
The error I get is:Failed to resolve instrument for market data.
The instrument is question is a VIX future. I'm not trading it, but use it as input for an indicator. I know this data is available from my other provider (IB), but when I try to pull up a new chart it still stalls out around a date a few days back. The other instruments (e.g. E-minis, which I know are supported by NinjaBrokerage also don't update after a certain day (July 3rd in this case).

What front month are you using for these instruments?
Can you please reset your instruments and make sure all rollovers have been completed to test your connection?
To reset your instruments, follow the steps below.- First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
- Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
- In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
- Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur
To rollover your instruments, follow the steps below.- Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Database window.
- Left-click the ‘Rollover’ button that appears just below the table under the ‘Rollover futures instruments’ section.
- Close this window when this process completes.
