Setting up account for live trading and paper trading

I'm getting my account set up so I can do live trading and paper trading. I've created a connection using my new license key and CQG login credentials. But now when I connect to it, I'm not sure which account I'm currently in. "Global Simulation Mode" is selected under Tools, but I can't tell which one I'm currently in (both accounts are listed in my control center, and even with Global Simulation Mode checked, I'm not seeing the "Simulation Color" that I selected to confirm that I'm in sim mode (see first screenshot).

Also, the option to show chart trader is greyed out (see second screenshot). Why is this?

Thank you for your post.

When Global Simulation mode is checked, the platform will only allow Simulation trades.

You would need to open an order entry window that is enabled for your license key such as a SuperDOM (New > SuperDOM (Dynamic)) to see your live account option and to see the color change when selecting the simulation or a live account.

The Chart Trader is greyed due to using a Free edition license key.
