Saving Chart Data for Historical?

Hi,

I'm figuring out migration from NT7 to NT8.

My main concern is my years of historical data, especially tick, that I collected myself.

I tried migrating last week (still need some of my software vendors to finalise migration before I do myself).

I noted when I was running NT8, I had gaps in my historical data for the days after I migrated data, and (thought I) was recording it in NT8 (also still keeping NT7 going as is).

I checked to make sure I had keep data as historical checked in NT8.

What do I need to do, or what should I check to make sure NT8 is configured to keep all data downloaded?

Hello _Cujo,

You would need to choose yes when prompted if you would like to import NinjaTrader 7 settings, when first launching NinjaTrader 8 after first installing.

This will only prompt once on the first launch.

You will not have a choice as to how much historical data is migrated. It will migrate all historical and market replay data.
