Hotkey for custom drawing tool settings

Is there a way to set up hotkeys for custom drawings? I'd like to set up one hotkey for a red dotted horizontal line and another for a yellow dotted horizontal line. Is this possible?

    Hello EnveousColnago,

    Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, this would not be possible currently but I have submitted your inquiry to our development team as a feature request.

Please let us know if we may assist further.

Have you tried resetting your default to the one you most use? then hot key that. Then add a template, add your first default line, then go to template to switch.

It is not what you asked, but you can code a couple of toolbar buttons to draw the desired dotted lines. Not convenient as a shortcut, but still a sole click away.

#afoschini - could you elaborate on how to code toolbar buttons for this please? I use peregrine’s suggestion & switch Default template between several, but it it’s cumbersome & have requested feature. Toolbar buttons & hotkeys to them would be progress....

              nbravelf, your message translates to:

Custom NinjaScripts can be removed in one of two ways from within NinjaTrader 8:
              • Add-ons can come as packages called 'assemblies'.An assembly can be removed by going to Tools > Remove NinjaScript Assembly > Select the assembly you wish to remove > Remove.
              • To remove NinjaScript individually you can go to New > NinjaScript Editor > Double click on the 'Indicators' (or the relevant) folder > Right click on the add-on you wish to remove and select 'Remove'. Repeat these steps for all add-ons you wish to remove.
