When I select my working order, I hit my CTRL key, but when I left click in the window, 'nothing' happens. By nothing I mean it drops my working order where I just left clicked, and the attach is now non-existent.

You hold down CTRL while left clicking the working order.Originally posted by SBMT17 View PostAs subject says. In NT8, how do I attach working order to indicator?

Hello SBMT17,
To attach an order to an indicator in Chart Trader:
There must first be an indicator applied to the chart.
Then place the order so that this is in a working or accepted state.
Next, right-click the order and select Attach To Indicator > select Properties > select the Indicator from the drop-down > click OK.
From the help guide:
"After you have configured an indicator to be displayed on the SuperDOM or Chart Trader, right clicking on a working order will now have a right click menu option called "Attach to Indicator". This feature will be available for both manually placed Entry/Exit orders as well as pre-configured ATM Strategy Stop Loss and Profit Target orders."

I haven't been able to find an answer so I'll just post here but when i HOLD down left mouse click on an order I can move my mouse to lets say a moving average or something and the order words change to "attach" and it snaps to the ema. However... how do you "accept" the attach? If you release left mouse click it doesn't attach.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_ChelseaB View PostHello SBMT17,

Hello evnmck ,
Thank you for reaching out.
When you get to the menu to Attach to an Indicator, you have to first confirm the Properties:
Then confirm the Indicator:
After this, you will them see that the Order moves/attaches to the Indicator, and now when you go back to that same menu, it will show as now "Enabled"
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.Erick P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi and thank you,
That was not what I meant in the question. In that sell order for example in your screenshots. You can just left click it and move it to a different price. However, if when you left click it instead of releasing the mouse you can drag it to an indicator and the words on the limit order say "attach". Now if you let go of the mouse on a line, instead of popping up with anything it does nothing.
I know that if you ctrl+click a limit order you can drag mouse to indicator and when you left click again on an indicator it pops up the properties to attach. So i'm just asking why does "attach" apear when you left click + hold but then nothing happens. Hope this makes sense.
