    Order Reject: Comodity Segment does not exist


    Hello,
    I have a strategy running on CL that recently triggered a submition of an order.
    The order was rejected but I don't understand the reason that was shown.
    Here a screenshot of the error message.

    Can you please explain to me what does this means? Is there some setting I have to do? Is there something I'm missing?

    Also, is there a list of posible order rejection reasons and how to avoid them I should know about ?

    Hello lismartin,

    This may be a brokerage rejection message and may be from Interactive Brokers.

    What expiry contract month is being used with the CL future?

    Have you reached out to your broker to inquire about this message?

    Is OCO being used?

      I'm using CL 02-20, I hope that answeres your question.

      No, I haven't. I will soon do it since you're telling me that it may be a brokerage message from IB.

        We do not have a list of rejection messages, but your broker may.

        If you would like our staff to investigate further after talking with your broker, please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that we may request your log and trace files.
        In the email please include a link to this forum thread.
