Preferred data feed bug on reconnect

I have my preferred data feed connection for stocks set to TDA. When the TDA connection is lost it uses my IB connection which does not have stock data. Upon a reconnect NT does not switch back to the TDA data feed. So the stock charts stop updating.

Running 8.0.20.1 64-bit on a local PC.

This is expected. Preferred connections is only intended to manage two or more connections that can provide the same asset classes. If a connection is lost, it is expected that it would default to pulling all data from the remaining connected provider.

You'll need to disconnect from all data feeds then reconnect to TD Ameritrade and Interactive Brokers for the preferred connection settings to again manage your preferences.

With that said. we realize this is not ideal in some cases. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. The internal tracking number for your feature request is SFT-4547. Yes please fix. I'm trying to use NT for automated trading and don't want to have to baby sit it. In my case if NinjaTrader Continuum reconnects I just lose futures data completely until I intervene.
