Export Alert Log causes Excel Error Dialog

Hello Support,

I need to export the Alert Log so that I can create custom filtering.

When I export the Alert log, Excel opens and shows the attached dialog box about how it doesn't seem to like some of the xml given to it about "styles"

I click the "close" button and Excel shows an Alert Log in the spreadsheet but all Formatting is gone and all Dates show as "Real" numbers

I'm using Office 365 via subscription and my version is the latest.

Can you pls let me know if this is a fixable NT8 problem or if another version of Excel will work.

Thanks for your post.

Thanks for reporting this. I observe the same behavior on my end.

I would not expect for the formatting to be included in the Excel document. If you like I could submit this as a feature request, but I am unsure of the feasibility of exporting formatted text from a different file type. That is outside of anything I am familiar with.

I would of course expect for the date and time to be exported properly. I have reported this to the development team and will report back here when I have further information.

This is actively being looked at by development. Please keep an eye on the Release Notes for fixes to the Date/Time field of your exported Excel files.
