Colour tweak in skin possible?

Hi,

Once in a while I make the serious mistake of clicking a button or hotkey in a wrong window. I took a look at a few ideas to fix this. The easiest and most logical is to simply have NT highlight the currently selected window via border colour etc. Looking in the skins, I think this might be possible? At least, in wpf, it seems to be a standard setting.

If this is possible, via a skin change or any other method, could you let me know how please?

So, ideally, I would like a different border colour or title bar background colour etc., on the currently selected window. This is to avoid mistakes with hotkeys etc. (which can be expensive!).

Pretty sure I could code something for this, but no point reinventing the wheel...

Hello pjsmith,

You could control this with the following two skin properies:

BackgroundCaptionBar - the currently active windows titlebar, make it bright or a color you know is active

BackgroundCaptionBarInactive - all other windows, you could darken them or color them to know their not focused.
