Using NT8, Stop loss and buy quanitity issues

So the issue I have is ..the stop loss and PT orders are being placed before the stock is even bought. For example if the stop and pt is for 5000 shares and I get filled for only 4500 shares. The stop will selling 5000 shares instead of 4500 and it will end up shorting the other 500 shares which I was not filled for.

What am I doing wrong?
