Fib Extension

Am trying to install a custom Fib Ext value, can get it to work once but cannot save it as a permanent value in the indicator. Looks so easy yet the change is not permanently saved. Any easy tips?

Thank you for your post.

In order to make your Fibonacci Extensions draw tool template saved as Default please follow these steps for NinjaTrader 8.

Within the charts window click the Drawing Tool Icon
Click Drawing Objects near the bottom
Select which Configured Fibonacci Extensions you wish to make default.
Click template→save
Rename this template "Default" and then click save.
Important: It must be named only Default there can be no spaces, letters, or numbers.

This Fibonacci draw tool settings will always be displayed now when used.

If you're using Ninjatrader 7 please follow the steps below.

Draw a Fibonacci Extensions line on your chart
Double left click or right click on the Fibonacci line itself to open the properties window
Right click to open manage templates
Now rename the Fibonacci line you wish to use as "Default"
Click Save
