    Object reference not set

    I use Kinetic-End-of-Day connection to get the latest data and then have been running a Strategy through Strategy analyzer since months.
    Since a few weeks my NT8 program crashes each time I run a Strategy on strategy analyzer. The NT8 program exits halfway the run without an error message.
    Control Center Log shows the message of Default Category: Unhandled Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    How can I correct this?

    What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? (Help About.. e.g. 8.0.X.X)

    Can this behavior be reproduced with the SampleMACrossOver included with NinjaTrader over the same instrument and date range?

      The version is: 8.0.11.1 64-bit (Multi-Broker)
      Yes, NT8 very frequently crashes also when I run SampleMACrossOver on AAPL for the same time range (although not as frequent as my own Multi-Instrument Strategy). It can crash when I run the Strategy Alalyzer but can also crash when I only check/uncheck a box: e.g. Exit on session close or Include commission.

        Before continuing, please update to the latest version of NinjaTrader.

        To update your NinjaTrader platform:
        • Copy your license key to a text file. You can find this under Help -> License Key
        • Use the following public link to get to the NinjaTrader download page: Download
        • Enter your license into the Current Users field, and download NinjaTrader
        • Shutdown all programs including NinjaTrader *important
        • Double click the downloaded file to execute it
        • Follow the on screen instructions
        • Restart NinjaTrader


        After updating, please test the SampleMACrossOver. If you are able to reproduce crashing please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that I may schedule a call to observe the crashing with the SampleMACrossOver (only).
