Drawing Objects properties window opens constantly

When scrolling through charts clicking on either axis or a drawing object the Drawing Objects properties window open up constantly. It's gotten so bad that I hardly can do anything on a chart without it popping open. Any help would be appreciated.

It is expected that the properties window for the Chart Panel or chart object would open when you double click on them.

Are you certain that you are not double-clicking when trying to manipulate your chart?

If you check your PC's mouse settings, what is your 'double-click speed' set to? If you play with the settings here, can you prevent the accidental double left click from occurring? Here is a screenshot example:

Been working with computers for over 20 years and I've not been
double clicking. I'll check the mouse speed and try another mouse
maybe that'll help. Will let you know how it pans out. Thanks

Slowing down the mouse double click seems to have worked, finally
able to move around the chart without the box popping open. Didn't
think it was the problem because all other apps I use have no issues.
