BarsType LineBreak & Range

is there any reason for not include Range bars as basebar into Linebreak bars type ?

I am checking with our development team on the reason that the Range Bars are not included in the BaseBarsPeriodType.

The Range Bars are considered a more exotic bar time versus something like Tick, Minute, or Day.

Can you detail a user case where you would need the Range Bars for input versus something like tick bars?

it is a requirement for a customer's system.
I suppose I could develop a variant of the LineBreak barstype by myself including the Range as a basebar, but I wanted to know if there is any technical reason why NinjaTrader does not include the Range as basebars, and that it could be a source of problems.

Thank you for your response.

It is a hybrid bar type that may cause difficulties in Line Break. If I find out more technical reasons I will let you know.
