Contract Limit

Is there anyway to limit the amount of contracts / risk total and not just per instrument? Thanks,

Thank you for your post.

This can be set via the Control Center tab > right click on the account > Max Position size. I also suggest contacting your broker as there are often account-side risk settings that like possible as well.

When I right click on the account I get options to add a sim account, edit account, remove account, ..., properties but nothing about max position. Thanks,

I apologize - Eric omitted one step. Click on 'Edit account' and you should see the options to modify the account properties.

Edit account only allows a change to denomination, commission and Forex lot size. Properties does not have any options that apply. Risk only allows setting lot size per instrument and not by account.

You can only configure risk settings for simulation accounts within the platform. You'll need to speak with your broker if you'd like to configure risk settings on a live account.

This would be completely dependent on the market volatility at the time. 100 contracts is a large amount no matter the futures instrument. I suspect it would fill completely but perhaps not at the same price.
