Historical CFDs data from Interactive Brokers

Hello everyone,

I have recently opened an IB account, but I would like to manage it through NT8.

It is assumed that IB provides historical data, but when I try to open a chart in NT8, an error appears that says: Error requesting bars and without market data permissions for the "asset".

I have verified the connection between IB and NT8 doing some trades in TWS of IB, and it works fine. I can see executed orders in NT8. So the connection seems to be well.

I am checking the connection using CFDs and Futures, but no sucess.

At the moment I am using a demo account, until all this works.

Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.


To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
