NT8 not saving settings

Hi,

I think installing a 3rd party indicater has wrecked my installation of NT8.

After the install and a reboot the system asked if I wanted to copy my NT7 settings. I said no and lost all my account settings etc. With other issues I did a clean reinstall. I kept a copy of my Ninjatrader8 directory so I could reinstall various indicators I had created.

Each time I reboot - I only do this about once a week, it would appear I get asked if I want to copy my NT7 settings and all my accounts are missing.

Is there a central settings file that is corrupt? Any idea how to fix?

Thank you for your post.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader to resolve any corruption you may have:

• If possible, copy your license key from the Control Center > Help > License Key.
• Close all running applications.
• Navigate to your Documents folder > Right click on the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder > Rename > rename the folder to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'. DO NOT delete this folder.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
• Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder if it exists
• Reboot your PC.
• Once these steps are completed, download and install NT8 from the link below.
