NT8 Crashed & erased previous log files..any reason for this

Do you have any anti-virus software or backup software running on your PC that may be monitoring the Documents\NinjaTrader 8 folder?

Ensure exceptions have been added into any firewall/antivirus/backup programs for the Documents/NinjaTrader 8 folder.

Then try and reinstall NinjaTrader and test to see if you experience the same.

Please try and download and install NinjaTrader from here.

Once downloaded, run it and select the 'Repair' option.

Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

If you're unsure whether or not you have any anti-virus or backup software on your PC, I'd recommend checking with your PC manufacturer on an IT professional. Also, you may find some useful information by just searching the web for "how do I find my firewall settings" or some other general questions that may provide you with resources to look through.
