Data not available for chart?

Hello. I downloaded a time series from my data provider. When I go to the Edit section in Historical Data I see that it is all there (minute data going back to Jan 1).

However, when I try to open a chart while offline, none of the data displays. Also, when I'm running the optimizer it doesn't appear to have access to any data either.

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks for the post.

Can you please check the log tab of your Control Center to see if any errors are being reported?

For charts, historical data is pulled from the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder if it is cached. If not, it will be downloaded from the NinjaTrader historical data server.

When you run a backtest, this is when the historical data is used if no data provider is connected.

I will look forward to hearing what you see from your log tab.

Hey Chris thanks for reply. I didn't see any errors, but for now my work around was just to connect live to my provider, open a chart with the data I need, and then it appears to be available for optimizations, etc. Thanks.
