End of Day Data Not Refreshing NinjaTrader 8

I just installed NinjaTrader 8 on May 28th. I connected to the free end of day data and was playing around in there. When I open the application today, I reconnected to the free EOD service, but when I look at the charts, they still show May 25th as the last bar on the chart and May 28th bar is not there.

How do you get the charts to refresh to have the most recent EOD data?

I did try right clicking on the chart and clicking "Reload All Historical Data" already.

I am trying to load Canadian stocks, which did have an active day yesterday as well.

Thanks for the note, and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum.

Sunday's bar ends today for Daily bars, so that bar will be timestamped with today's date. This bar will not be available yet for EOD connections. We will need to wait for the end of the session today for EOD connections.

So just so I am clear, the end of day data is 2 trading sessions old? I won't see the May 28th TSX EOD prices until after May 29th day is over?

I guess I should state as well, I was hoping to look at the Canadian and US stock markets in the evenings and have the EOD data for that current day (so on the evening of May 29th I wold see May 29th's close). Is this possible with the free EOD service or would require a paid subscription?

Thanks for the reply.

That is correct. If the instrument or stock you are trying to view on the Kinetick EOD connection is supported, you will be able to see EOD historical data for today at the end of the session.

So is today just an anomaly or due to the holiday in the USA yesterday? Why would May 28th close not be available for a symbol like C_PSI, for example?

Thanks for the follow up.

All American exchange stocks were closed yesterday so there would be no data for them even if the Canadian exchange was open.
