Opimisation for 3 parameters eat up whole memory and crash
Opimisation for 3 parameters eat up whole memory and crash. Just built-in strategy builder involved. Tried on 16G I-8700 CPU Win 10 Platform. Whenever NT8 took the total memory , it crashed. Does a licensed version make a different ?Tags: None

Hello hamugela,
Thank you for your post. No, the license key type would not alter this behavior.
What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (8.0.X.0)
Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
Are you connected to your data feed provider when running this test?
What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?
Do you see the same when running the same test on the SampleMaCrossOver strategy in NinjaTrader with the same settings as your strategy?
What Data Series Type have you selected? Example: Tick, Minute, Day
What From and To date is selected?
Is your strategy a multi instrument or multi time frame strategy?
Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
Thanks in advance; I look forward to further investigating this item.Eric B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello hamugela,
Thank you for your response.
Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.
You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.
Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
Please list 'ATTN: Patrick H' in the subject line and reference this thread in the body of the email.
I look forward to assisting you further.

Hello hamugela,
We did not receive your log and trace files.
Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick H' in the subject line and a reference to this thread in the body of the email.- Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
- Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
- Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments in your email.
- Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
I look forward to your response.
