metadata file cannot be found

I upgraded to the latest NT8 14

it said I have to recompile all custom ninjascript

I tried a recompile in Ninjascript editor

it says Metadata file "c***.dll" cannot be found ( I shortened the filepath )

so I know the location of the dll.

But what do i need to edit to get rid of NT trying to use this dll?.. I thought I removed it already - it was from a 3rd party addon that expired.

The NinjaScript File it is compiling that gives the error is called "<None>"

ok i fixed it , i searched the contents of ninja documents folder for the dll name and remove the XML <Reference> line for it

Morning - I have the same issue - I have removed the file names in the custom and strategies folders - but where do I find the XML reference lines?

This compiling error is caused when a .dll file is being referenced that NinjaTrader is unable to find.

Please see the steps below to resolve this compiling error.

• Right-click within the NinjaScript Editor window and select "References".
• Locate and select the reference to the .dll file mentioned in the Error.
• Click "remove" to remove the reference.
• Click "OK" and recompile.
