NT8 Price Line Indicator; Input another indicator

I have been using and enjoy the built in 'Price Line' indicator to show a horizontal line for the last price traded. I would also like to do the same for the output of an indicator (in this case 'Acme Volume Delta'). I assumed I could just change the input for 'Price Line' to be the indicator and it should behave similarly by showing a horizontal line for the last output of the indicator. Instead of showing the last output for 'Acme Volume Delta' however it only shows the last price of the underlying instrument. Is there someway to accomplish what I want? It seemed pretty straight forward but alas... My setting for the 'input' of Price Line are attached in the screenshot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for your post.

You are able to use the steps below to use the SMA indicator to get a very close approximation otherwise custom programming will be needed to accomplish what you are looking for.

To use the SMA indicator please follow the steps below:

• Right-click on your chart
• Select 'Indicators'
• Double left-click on the SMA under the Configured list
• Set the Period to 1
• Change the Input Series to your custom Acme indicator
• Set the 'Calculate' option to 'On each tick'
• Set the Panel to the same panel as your indicator
• Expand the 'SMA' under Plots
• Set the Plot style to 'Horizontal Line'
• Click 'OK' to save the changes
