How to setup Trailing Stop in NT8

Hello:

I am trying to figure out how to setup Trailing stop in NT8?


I saw one of the posts that after you open a position, go to positions Tab, and select "Apply ATM Strategy"

When I open a position, then go to Positions tab, right click the open position, the "Apply ATM Strategy" is grayed out...

Does this mean, I have to create a Strategy?
Are there 'sample / built-in" strategies in NT 8?

The reason is - I am not a 'coder'

I want to setup Trailing Stop based on price

For example:

I bough ES @ 3000
It moves to 3010
I want to set the Trailing Stop @ 3005

Could someone please let me know, How can I do that?

Thank you for your note.

You do not need to know programming to create a basic ATM Strategy, you can actually create an ATM Strategy in the platform as long as you have a Sim license key or a paid live license key.

Before we proceed, may I ask you to confirm if you have this capability with your license key? Please navigate to New > SuperDOM and try to select from the ATM Strategy drop down menu > custom. Is this option selectable for you?

Yes, when I open SuperDOM, I do see "Custom" option.

Perfect, this would indicate you have the ability to create ATM Strategies with your license key. I would recommend selecting Custom and following along with the following instructional video we have created to create a simple ATM Strategy of your own: https://youtu.be/Gnyx8RSp3EI
