timezone of displayed chart

when i have 2 chart windows, 1 @ daily and the other @ 25 minute.
i prefer to look at the bars using the Forex time ie 00 GMT as start time. I did change the trading hours to the Forex template.
What time does these daily bars start? is it 00 GMT or 00 EST(this is my machine timezone)?

Thanks for posting to the forums.

Please go to the NinjaTrader Control Center > Tools > Options > General > Time Zone. Here you can set whatever time zone you wish to use.

this explains why my charts look crazy to me. Here is my problem. I have Forex sessions setup. so the currentdayOHL starts @ 17.00 hours.


But the daily bars with the same session shows open bar starting at midnight. how do i make sure that my daily bars will start as same as the forex session. afterall, the currentdayOHL indicator is starting at 17.00 when plotting.,

You'd either want to update your Trading Hours templates to start at the same time as the forex open:

or as previously described align the session to coincide with your platforms time zone:

Go to the NinjaTrader Control Center > Tools > Options > General > Time Zone. Here you can set the timezone to align with the forex opening at 17:00.
