NinjaTrader_PatrickG does that mean that I can open a brokerage account with NT, use their API to fetch live and historical futures data and and execute orders on futures all in the same place? Without any charting or opening an account with another clearing house or firm involved? If yes, can you please send me a link to your API documentation? Any python implementation by any chance?

You can retrieve real-time and historical data from a NinjaTrader Brokerage connection in the NinjaTrader platform without any programming - one of NinjaTrader's main functions is to provide this capability. Depending on what you mean by "API documentation", what you desire may be possible by programming custom NinjaScript. I would suggest that you create a new thread in the NinjaScript sub-forums or email us so that we can answer your NinjaScript questions in more detail.
