Market Replay - Strategy signals working but entry positions aren't

I'm using Bloodhound to develop strategies and I currently have one built that combines the opening range and RSI prints. The problem I'm having is that Bloodhound is providing entry long and short signals in market replay but NT8 is not entering positions when these signals hit. I've worked on Bloodhound/NT8 strategies in market replay in the past and haven't had issues. Any thoughts into what may be the problem? I can send log files to to customer support if necessary. Please turn on TraceOrders in your script and observe the output window when you run the strategy. Do you see any problems with your order submission there?

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not entirely sure how to do the above as I'm not writing my own code - instead I'm using the Bloodhound platform to create a strategy. Would this be something that they can help with (ie, do I need to get in touch with them instead)? Is there anything else I can try to provide in the meantime?

Hi Jschmelz, thanks for your reply.

You can try making a very simple strategy with a trivial entry condition and see if that makes trades. To find why the subject strategy does not make trades, the actions the strategy takes and its output must be evaluated more thoroughly (through debugging the script). We have a short guide on debugging NinjaScript code here. Sharkindicators might be able to help further, although I am not sure how in depth their support will go.
