Screening/Scannin capability in NT8

Hello,
Is there built in screening functionality in NT8? For instance, if I wanted to learn the stats on how many times the intra-day price on the ES breached the initial balance High or low over the last five years, is there a function in NT8 that will allow me to collect and report this data?

If there is no internal functionality for this type of statistical screening, is this sort of screening possible within the platform, if I write a C# program or indicator for it?

Hi Ana, thanks for your post, and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums.

The type of condition described would need to be written as a NinjaScript indicator. Indicators work in the Market Analyzer the same way they would on a chart. We have much documentation and examples on indicators on our help guide here as well as all of the default NinjaTrader indicators being open source and available to view in the NinjaScript editor.
