Stop Main Panel x Sub Panels automatic re-sizing

    Hi

Would someone be so kind to teach me, in a chart, How can I stop having "main input series panel" and " indicator sub panels" to automatically resize, and equally share the extent of the Y-axis? I am not sure if this was always behaving like this, or is it something I did and cannot find the way back, but for now, every time I change a single parameter in an indicator, I must manually re-size the Main panel and all the sub panels to sizes that are pleasant for my viewing, usually main panel Greater than Sub panels.

    Thanks much,
    G

    Hello bouncetherubble,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

I look forward to your reply.

      Hi Jermaine,

      My version is 8.0.18.1 64-bit .

I also realized that upon creating a new chart, this behavior appears to have stopped. So something randomly triggers the behavior in a chart.

      Thanks much,
      G

        Hello bouncetherubble,

        Thank you for your reply.

When you first create a chart you may add a second data series which will evenly space the data series apart. If you open a chart and then add an indicator you will have to manually adjust the indicator panel. At the moment there is no way to adjust the Indicator panel when you add an indicator. Although, I have found a workaround so that you do not have to adjust each chart you create each time.

Once you have created the first chart with the indicator and Data series panel in the desired place, at the bottom of the chart right-click on the Tab select "Duplicate In New Window."

I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

Please let us know if we may be of any further assistance.

Please add my vote to this! I'm losing literally hours per month resizing my charts every time I tweak the indicators as I'm building new strategies. Thank you!
