Hello how do I test more then one stock ticker symbol at once??

In the strategy analyzer, when selecting the instrument, note that you can select instrument lists. In an instrument list you can select either an individual instrument or at the top choose "select all". Look at the <Dow30> as an example of this.

Hello I must be doing something wrong cause I tried select all and it did not work its says <DOW 30> but it just runs the first one on the list for DOW.

Thanks for your reply.

Please note that to run the backtest you would need to have access to the historical data of all those instruments over the period specified. Not all data providers have the historical data (or not all have the same type of historical data, for example one may have minute data but not tick data). I've attached links to data by provider so you can compare to your data provider to see if they supply the historical data needed: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...y_provider.htm

I've attached a screenshot of the strategy analyzer on the dow 30 using the "select all" feature using the strategy SampleMACrossover. You may want to see if you can replicate using the same strategy and setting as displayed.

When you run the strategy analyzer, please review the "log" tab of the NinjaTrader8 control center for any error messages that may occur that may help in understanding if the analyzer is not running as expected
