NT8 IB VIX Futures Data

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting Interactive Brokers Volatility Futures data through Ninjatrader.
I have the enhanced/streaming CFE data package on the IB side in TWS so should be getting data from the API.

Thank you for your note.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2283638" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

RandanAL , we haven't received an email from you yet, however, we may have discovered the root cause of this symptom. A change to the exchange needs to be made for VX futures trading to work with Interactive Brokers CFE subcription. Follow these steps:

• Disconnect from all data feeds
• Control Center > Instruments
• Locate and select 'VX' futures instrument > Edit
• To the right of 'Exchanges', click on '1 exchange'
• Uncheck 'CBOE' and check 'Cfe' > OK > OK
• Restart NinjaTrader

Thanks Patrick. Sorry for slow response I've been traveling. Will need to play around with it after the market close. I'm getting streaming data right now but not historical but that may be because the IB data stream is always a little janky.
