How does multi broker NT8 work live?

I understand that there is an option for no-upfront costs, pay via commissions NT8

Is that multi broker or single broker?

Currently I'd like to have a live Futures account and an FXCM demo running for more practice...

will that work with the commissions model?

you mean that demo accounts can still be run with a single broker account - only the # of live connections are limited?

A Single Broker License Key enabled for use with NinjaTrader Brokerage will have access to FXCM along with the futures connections.
