PC upgrade for Backtesting

Hi Guys,

im considering to upgrade my PC for faster backtesting results.

Im Currently using a Ryzen 1700X with 16 GB RAM and a standard Samsung SSD.

I already purchased a CL 15 3000 32GB Ram upgrade.
Will the new Ryzen 3900x significantly lower the backtest duration?
Same question goes for a V-Nand M2 SSD.

While I would expect improvements in the overall performance of the platform with the upgrade, we are unable to give specific product recommendations outside of our recommend system requirements. Additional memory will always be of direct benefit when running strategy optimizations, and the amount of additional memory needed is proportional to the number of CPU cores available.
