Bar Timestamp inside or outside session BeginTime EndTime

data feed = continuum cgm ninjatrader

I have a trading hours session template, with example sessions
(index 2) starting at 6:30 am, ending at 9:30am
(index 3) starting at 9:30 am, ending at 11:00am

Bar timestamp is the time that bar finished, ex 5 min bars, bar with timestamp of 9:30 am, was started at 9:25 am, and ended at 9:30 am.

That bar was inside the session (index 2) since bar started at 9:25 am and finished at 9:30 am
and the next session (index 3) started at 9:30 am, so the first bar of that session (index 3) will have a timestamp of 9:35 am (on a chart built from 5 minute bars)

I'm testing my code and need confirmation that my unit tests will match this use case.

Please confirm my explanation is correct, for both historical backtest data (Playback Connection, Data Series => Tick Replay checked) and live data.

    thanks

Yes, bars are time stamped with their closing time:
